Anhydrous Ammonia Railcar Training     Brochure   Potash Corporation Document

Location: Albany Fire Department Training Center 115 Honeysuckle Road, Albany, Georgia 31705

 

Course Description:  Hands-on training event emphasizing Anhydrous Ammonia, its properties, emergency response and transportation equipment such as railcars, cargo trailers and nurse tanks. Training is to provide Emergency Responders, and Facility Emergency Response Teams a resource to instruct effective methods to assess, detect, evaluate and provide corrective actions for leak sources in the event of a hazardous materials emergency related to anhydrous ammonia.  (Please see attachments)

 

Prerequisite:  None

 

Instructors:  Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan

 

Certificate:   This course has been approved by GEMA, EMS, and Georgia Firefighters Standards and Training Council for 6 hours continuing education credit hours.

 

THERE IS NO FEE FOR THIS TRAINING – All Course Materials will be provided.
