Training report-Capt. King reported on training Consortium. 11 commitments to join live fire Inst. 2^nd week in dec.

Standards and Training- Capt. Hartley discussed rules change evolution and asked all to check out changes that are being made. Britt Brinson reported new budget cuts to S&T. They are still doing site visits. Testing continues but you will need to provide your own evaluators.

GAFC- Chief Connell and Chief Lunsford are now the Co-District VP’s for the GAFC in our area. A report was given on the Joint Conference which was held in Savannah. Chief Croft is the 1^st VP, and Chief Tully is the Past President.

GSFA- Capt. King requested recruitment for GSFA. The 2011 Joint Conference is set for Columbus for 3rd week in Sept. Dalton is to be the site for 2012 and Albany for 2013. D. King is 2nd VP and J. Hartley is 3rd VP

Old Bus.-None

New business- Chief Carswell has requested to host the November SOWEGA meeting in the New Albany training center, on November 1st for a tour and meeting. Motion by C. Wainwright with second by R. Lunsford, motion carried.

Sec. Phelps put forth an idea for an Association grant for radios.
